
INGREDIENTS
- 1 bunch basil; leaves only
- 1 bunch cilantro (or parsley); leaves & tender stems
- ¼ cup olive oil (you may need more)
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ ripe avocado
- ½ lemon, juiced
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Chop the basil and cilantro in a food processor. With processor on, slowly pour olive oil into the bowl until well blended. It should be pretty creamy; add more oil as needed.
Add garlic and avocado and blend until thoroughly mixed. This will lighten the green and really integrate everything.
Add lemon and salt to taste.
