INGREDIENTS
- 16 oz macaroni noodles
- 1 cup cashew butter
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup plant-based cheddar cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup plant-based cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Cheddar Flavor Cheezee Crackers, crumbled
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare the macaroni noodles as directed in the packaging instructions.
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together just the cheese sauce ingredients. Now add the cooked noodles, stirring gently until thoroughly coated. Pour the cheese and noodle mixture into a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven.
Top evenly with shredded plant-based cheese and crumbled Cheezee Crackers. Then finish baking in the oven for another 10 minutes. Serve warm.
